Senior Living

Age In Place (Home-Care)

Age In Place (Home-Care)

Age In Place (Home-Care)

Home care living typically provides seniors with the highest level of independence and comfort. Approximately 75% of seniors residing in their own homes receive care from family members. This care can be enhanced by government-funded services through Home & Community Care Support Services.

Independent Living

Age In Place (Home-Care)

Retirement living or Independent living is available for those who require limited support for their living and care needs. While external care needs can be coordinated for a fee, there are no “services” included in retirement living spaces, which in many cases are retirement apartments.

Supportive Living

Age In Place (Home-Care)

Supportive Living

Supportive living is what most people consider “retirement homes” such as ExtendiCare, Chartwell, Revera etc. It can be similar to independent living but in a large residence environment with added services available for purchase. Appropriate for those with varying/changing care needs.
